In this webinar, Ian Mitchell, Product Manager of Commercial Phones at Snom Americas, and Tommy Lee, Director of Strategic Alliance, highlight how VTech addressed the mobility challenges of business telephony solutions.
The wide adoption of SIP in the business community has introduced a spectrum of helpful features including auto attendants, voice conferencing, hunt groups and more. While the benefit to business communications is undeniable, today’s businesses frequently require tools that are mobile inside and outside, in-office or off-campus.
Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) is a mature, wireless technology that overcomes the challenges of packet loss or interference, commonly referred to as Quality of Service (QOS), experienced frequently in Wi-Fi solutions. While DECT supports crisp, secure audio quality, the technology often experiences limitations in range and functionality due to the physical design of the phone. Snom recognized the shortcomings of DECT and addressed these voids with its mobile M-series solutions.
Building upon an extensive history of business audio solutions, Snom Americas, a VTech company, introduced its M700 series multi-cell DECT base station to address long range, campus wide wireless applications, and will soon introduce its M100 series Key Line Emulation (KLE) solution to enable intuitive end user experience for small and medium-sized businesses. For the installer, this means skipping over end user lessons on how to use their upgraded phone, and potentially avoiding thousands of dollars in costs associated with re-wiring the office.

• Intuitive mobile Key System for SMB
